Caitlin is WALKING!

Not long after her 1st birthday, Caitlin started really making progress with walking. Well, she's now able to run across the room! She is really loving the independence and now getting into everything more than ever. Here is the first of a couple of videos of her walking.

Caitlin Turns One!

Caitlin turned one year old on August 20! To celebrate, we hosted a party for friends and family at the Art Farm in the City on the upper east side. There was music, art and a petting zoo, all of Caitie's favorite things. We were so excited to have all our friends and loved ones there to celebrate! Caitlin was a good hostess and had fun playing with everyone!

 

 

 

 

Penn State Friends Come to NYC

Our Penn State friends came to town for a visit. Caitlin got to meet the Umbenhauers, Davis's and Chris Mavis. We had a picnic in Central Park and dad got to use his "Wonder Wheeler" to cart all our picnic gear. Later we went to dinner to celebrate Zach's and Caryn's birthdays at Ciano. Caitlin was on her best behavior and had fun singing Happy Birthday!

Montauk & the Hamptons

Caitlin's Auntie Joanne and cousins Ethan and Joshua came to New York for visit all the way from Taiwan. So the whole family went to Montauk and the Hamptons for a week long vacation. The house was beautiful and Caitlin really enjoyed the pool. We also visited the Montauk Lighthouse and the Children's Museum in Bridgehampton.

It was the first time Caitlin experienced the beach, and she LOVED it! She was fascinated by the ocean and had so much fun being splashed by the waves. She also had fun spending time with her grandparents, aunts, uncle and cousins.

Happy July 4th!

We spent July 4th on Pier 83 right on the Hudson River. Caitlin was not scared by the fireworks and was jumping and dancing around the whole time. She enjoyed her cheeseburger and met Captain America!

And We're Back!

Mom has been really busy with work stuff recently so she has fallen behind with the blog posts. There is a lot to catch everyone up on!

Mom spent her birthday out with the family at Tony di Napoli's and then on World Yacht with Dad and Caitlin. It was a beautiful, sunny day. Caitlin really enjoyed being on a boat for the first time and the views of New York City, including the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty!

Fun With the Girls

Caitlin has play dates with several little girls and boys in the neighborhood because her wonderful nanny Joan makes friends with the other nannies. Here she is with her friends Olivia and Sasha. The hot toy of the day was this water bottle.

Auntie Ashley in NYC

Caitlin's Auntie Ashley came to visit and of course brought some lovely new dresses for her. Caitlin enjoyed having dinner with her at Neely's and playing Pat-a Cake.

Cheesy Puff Addict!

Caitlin is now crazy for cheesy puffs, it is by far her favorite food. When she sees the cheesy puff container, she gets all excited and grabs fistfuls of puffs, which she stuffs into her mouth and makes  "Mmmm....mmmmm!" sounds. Mom has even caught her licking her fingers after eating cheesy puffs! Here she is enjoying her favorite snack.

Some of Caitlin's other favorite foods include: Grandma Chang's oxtail soup, whipped cream, strawberry yogurt, sweet potatoes and Cheerios.
